The website that started as a favor.

Oct 24, 2026

Branding is sold in phases. The site, the deck template, and the “while you are in there” are not a phase until someone builds the invoice.

Phases that drift

A branding job is discovery, a mark, a system, and guidelines. Then the client asks for the site, the sales deck, and the social kit. Each request starts in email. None of them change the signed phase.

The studio delivers the favor. Finance reconstructs the fee from the last call and a folder of PDFs.

One client, every phase

The client is one account. Each phase is work on that job, with its own paper. A new phase is a change order, signed before the work, not a paragraph at the bottom of the final invoice.

People who approve, open phases, and unpaid invoices sit on Client 360. CRM still owns the next phase while it is a deal. Once it is signed, it is the same job.

The binder they will actually open

Guidelines, signed phases, and invoices sit behind one PIN link. There is no client login to reset. They open the binder when they need the PDF or the invoice.

Nothing in that binder sends itself. An owner approves the sign link and the invoice email.

Seats and the voice line are on the pricing page. Clients are not seats. Book a demo to see the job on one record.

Questions

Can discovery, identity, and a website be one client without becoming one blob?
Yes. One account. Each phase keeps its own signed paper. A website that was not in the identity phase is a change order on that job.
Where do the brand files and the invoice live?
On the job, and in the client binder behind a PIN. The client does not get a seat.
Who is allowed to send the next phase?
Owners. Drafters can prepare the change order. The first person in the workspace is the owner. Nothing leaves until an owner hits Approve.
