The package holds. The weekend does not.
Oct 24, 2026
The calendar is the retainer. The launch, the creator hours, and the Sunday replies are the spike. Those hours never move the package price.
The package and the spike
Social retainers are a package: a cadence, a set of posts, a community window. Launches, creators, and crises land on top. The hours go into a timer. The fee stays the package.
Margin shows up when someone rebuilds the month. By then the weekend is over and the client thinks it was included.
A spike with a signed line
The retainer stays the signed scope. A launch or a crisis is a change order with a fee, or it is billable time on that job at the rate already set. The client signs before the spike is treated as part of the package.
Drafts of that change wait for Approve. The voice line does not promise the work. It only answers when someone calls.
One client, every channel
The account is the client, not the network. Organic, paid bursts, and community hours hang off the same job as the invoice.
Ask AI reads that record. It does not invent a status from the nearest thread. Slack and Teams are optional capture when the request already started there.
Seats and the voice line are on the pricing page. Clients are not seats. Book a demo to see the job on one record.
Questions
- How do we bill a launch on top of an always-on retainer?
- The retainer remains the signed scope. The launch is a change order, or billable time on that job. The invoice is drafted from those signed lines and the time.
- Can creator fees and community hours sit on the same client?
- Yes. People, time, expenses, and rates are on the job. A creator who can log in is a member. A creator who only gets paid as an expense is an expense on the project.
- Will the studio message the client on its own over a weekend?
- No. Drafts and emails wait until an owner hits Approve. The voice line answers inbound calls. It does not dial out.
